In addition to his work at Tieri Medical Practice, local physio, Alex Jaquet, has recently launched ‘Jaquet Health & Safety’ (JHS) as a way to provide the community and local businesses with even greater access to a variety of health, wellbeing and safety services. Applying for a Glencore SmartyGrant

Glencore Coal’s Community Investment Program supports local initiatives that make a real difference in Tieri, Capella, and surrounding areas. Through the 2025 Oaky Creek Community Investment and Local Family and Community Events grants, not-for-profit groups can apply for funding of up to \$10,000 for projects that benefit the community. If your initiative aligns with Glencore’s focus areas- health, environment, education, Indigenous support or a local need -now’s the perfect time to apply.
