Each year GCAA provides support to local sports clubs and associations across Queensland. Applications for the Queensland Junior Sports Development Program are now open! If you’re a junior club, school or association near our Queensland coal operations you could be eligible for a grant up to $7,500. To find out more and to apply click here

Coronavirus Qld: South-east Queensland going into lockdown

Following news of six locally acquired cases of the Delta strain being reported in Queensland, Deputy Premier Steven Miles has announced 11 local government areas in south-east Queensland will go into lockdown.

Quarterly Pulse Survey Now Open

Congratulations to the Glencore Smarty Grant Round 1 Recipients

Sports, Education and the Arts are all winners with the announcement of the Oaky Creek Coal Round One Smarty Grants recently awarded. Glencore's Environment & Community Advisor, Hannah Murphy advised that the next round of grants is now open for community groups and individuals to apply. "We aim to make a positive impact in the communities in which we operate, and are delighted to announce our Round One Smarty Grant recipients" Hannah said.

Car Washing for a good cause

Hands up if you find washing the car a tedious chore! Tieri locals are invited to 'feel like a star in a shinny new car' by taking part in the Tieri State School Car Wash fundraiser to be held outside Tieri Town Services from 8am on Sunday 20th June. For just $50 you can have the external wash, shammy dry and interior clean.
