Applications for the Central Queensland program are open from Monday 6 February 2023 and will close midnight Tuesday 28 February 2023.
Following assessment of eligible applications received by the due date, we will select 15 participants for the 2023 program which will run for 26 weeks from Monday 17 April 2023.
Glencore Coal Australia’s Indigenous Employment Pathways Program is structured to provide participants with the experience and job-readiness skills for Indigenous Australians who live in or have connection to the areas where we operate mines in the Bowen Basin (Collinsville, Hail Creek, Clermont, Oaky Creek, and Rolleston). Traditional Owners from within those areas are encouraged to apply.

At the completion of the 26-week program, participants will have fulfilled the requirements to obtain a Certificate II in Surface Extraction, as well as other employment ready skills. Glencore has partnered with WorkPac and JobTrail to assist in the delivery of the Indigenous Employment Pathways Program in Queensland.
