Under 8’s Week is all about acknowledging the importance of learning in the early stages of a child’s life. The event was proudly initiated by Early Childhood Australia Queensland Branch and has been running for 60 years across Queensland.
Once again this year Tieri State School and local businesses hosted an under 8’s event on the 23rd of May for children in the community. Children each received their very own high-vis work shirt with their name on it and participated in various activities ranging from slime bubbles to exploring the workings of a drift runner. The day was enjoyed by all students at Tieri State School and the community. Have you seen any of these high-vis learners around town?
Tieri considers the health and wellbeing of the community a priority. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we have created the Tieri Covid-19 Hub. Please subscribe if you would like to receive a notification when important information is updated on this site.
