Tieri Wine Night

It was wine time at Tieri Golf Club on 29th August, as the Oaky Creek Coal (OCC) events team hosted Tieri Wine Night, in collaboration with Hentley Farm Wines from Barossa Valley.

Nick Meyer from Hentley Farm hosted the wine tasting that showcased a selection of Hentley Farm wines. He shared stories about the wines, as well as the history of the winery. 

Each wine was paired with canapes prepared by Sinful Kitchen catering, creating a delicious combination of food and wine throughout the evening. Josh Nixon provided live acoustic music, creating a relaxed atmosphere for the evening.

“It was fantastic to bring something a little different to Tieri and give the community the chance to enjoy some great wines, delicious food, and live music,” says event organiser, Leah Freihaut. 

“A big thank you to Nick for making the huge trek from South Australia to Tieri and for sharing his knowledge, stories and passion for wine with the community – it made the evening really special.”

A special thank you also goes to the team at Tieri Golf Club for providing the venue and for their assistance with setting up and helping make the evening a success.
