The final rounds of Rise Up for 2023-24 have opened!

Does your business need a new sign? Maybe a new garden, or something to add a little pizazz to your storefront?

The final rounds (3 and 6) for this financial year of Rise Up Central Highlands have opened for local businesses. Get in quick before they close!

Round 6 is a continuation of council’s commitment to encourage new development that attracts and facilitates investment in our region by reducing up-front costs. This round will remain open until Friday 17 May 2024, and offers three funding streams:

• Built Heritage Grant (up to $10,000)
• Façade Improvement Grant (up to $2,000)
• Placemaking Grant (up to $1,000)

Round 3 remains open until Friday 17 May 2024 for developers seeking a rebate on development application fees and infrastructure charges (Stream 4).

‘All four funding streams are part of council’s Economic Stimulus Framework with the goal of raising up our local businesses and enhancing the beauty and functionality of our regional towns,’ said General Manager Communities John McDougall.
