Your friends say you are funny? You think you are funny? You want to be funny! Well, it’s time to find out. Whether you want to excel your comedy career, see how funny you can be or are looking for something to do with the family for the September school holidays this this stand up comedy workshop is definitely worth a look.
Presented by professional stand-up comedian Anthony Lamond who will help you conquer your fear and learn the proven techniques and stand-up secrets of the masters. An exciting full day workshop Anthony will cover topics including:

• The science of laughter and why we laugh.
• Developing a character for stage.
• Sourcing material and writing it for yourself.
• Stage Craft, how to walk and perform on stage.
• Microphone technique, are you being heard??
• Shaping, editing and finalising your material
• Develop a 2-5min routine
• Producing your own show and building an audience, an insight into the Comedy Industry and finding your place.

At the completion of the Workshop you will present your routine to a live audience which will be your graduation performance. All participants in the show you will be presented onstage a Certificate that recognizes your achievement.
