Public notice: Water main works in Tieri

Upcoming works are scheduled for Tieri to remove and replace a defective water valve and re-align a section of the water main.
The valve renewal will eliminate an ongoing water leak and reinstate an important isolation point.
These works are scheduled from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm on Wednesday 2 March 2022.
Water outages should be expected during this time.
The streets that will be affected are:

• Cassia Street
• Emuapple Street
• Gum Street
• Wilga Street
• Banksia Street
• Carbeen Street
• Baden Powell Drive
• Wattle Street
• Talagai Avenue (between Centre Place and Cassia Street)

Please expect detours, drive to conditions and follow signage.

Note:
You may experience slight discolouration of the water; if you do, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period of time. If this persists, please contact Central Highlands Regional Council on 1300 242 686.
