Every year, Glencore invests thousands of dollars to help community-focused organisations get their ideas off the ground to the benefit and engagement of the people in Tieri and the surrounding communities. These ideas range from buying much needed resources or equipment, through to large scale events.
So far this year, the following organisations have received a SmartyGrant from Glencore:

Do you have an idea for a project, event or initiative that promotes healthier lifestyles, including physical and mental health?
Or encourages recycling and sustainable living, and the protection and care of our wildlife?
Or enhances the education experience, such as learning materials, resources or skills development opportunities?
Or an idea that fosters community spirit, such as events and activities that engage people and bring them together?
Do you represent a local not-for-profit club or organisation?
Then you could be eligible for one of Glencore’s Smarty Grants!
There are a number of different grants available this year:
Oaky Creek Coal 2023 Local Community Investment Grants – 3 rounds per year
Oaky Creek Coal 2023 Local Community & Family Events Grants – 1 round per year
Glencore QLD Junior Sport Development Program – 2 rounds per year
