Heart of Australia embodies the most innovative approach to front-line specialist medical service delivery in generations, specifically aiming to help Australians whose lives are threatened by this nation’s vast distances.
Heart of Australia delivers specialist healthcare and diagnostic testing to rural, remote, and First Nations communities across Queensland. Our fit-for-purpose Heart Trucks – the custom-designed medical clinics-on-wheels – have saved our patients more than 34 million kilometres of travel, creating a more accessible pathway to specialists for those communities who are most at risk for chronic disease.
Dr Sterling will be providing Gynaecology consultations and examinations, including advice and treatment on:

How to make an appointment:
STEP 1 – Visit your GP
Make an appointment to see your GP. Discuss your health concerns with them and if a visit to the Heart Truck is the right choice for you, your doctor will send the Heart of Australia referral for you to see one of our specialists or undergo testing.
STEP 2 – Wait for our call
Our bookings team will contact you by phone as soon as your referral is received, and again once the appointments become available at the clinic/s nearest to you. They will take you through all the details, including appointment times, locations and what to bring with you. It’s that simple.
