Location change: performance will now be held at Emerald Town Hall due to wet weather.
Tickets are now available for Classical Reimagined, where The Queensland Chamber Orchestra (Camerata) will premiere Alexander Voltz’s composition inspired by Emerald.
This composition will be played along with stunning new interpretations of timeless classical masterpieces by Mozart and Tchaikovsky.
Central Highlands Regional Council is proud to be partnering on bringing this family fun event to the region with a free show in the Emerald Town Hall from 5.30 pm, Thursday 12 May.
A local charity barbecue will also be available from 4.30 pm.
Students from Emerald State School and Emerald North State School have also been preparing to serenade the gardens as part of Camerata’s performance.
‘The premiere of Voltz’s composition will be a magical opportunity to see the beauty of our region through a travellers’ eyes,’ said Mayor Kerry Hayes.
‘Giving our children the opportunities to play alongside professionals and showcase their skills to a sizable audience is simply something they will never forget.’
