CHRC Community Grants Program – Round 1 2025/2026 now open

Local organisations are invited to apply for the council's community grants to fund programs and /or equipment/facilities in the following categories; Community Assistance up to $5,000; Sport & Recreation up to $5,000; and Community Improvement up to $20,000. Applications will be closing at midnight on the 15th September 2025.

Glencore Coal’s Community Investment Program supports local initiatives that make a real difference in Tieri, Capella, and surrounding areas. Through the 2025 Oaky Creek Community Investment and Local Family and Community Events grants, not-for-profit groups can apply for funding of up to \$10,000 for projects that benefit the community. If your initiative aligns with Glencore’s focus areas- health, environment, education, Indigenous support or a local need -now’s the perfect time to apply.
