A free opportunity for students to practice their golf swing

Glencore and the Tieri Golf Club are offering our students free Golf lessons on Saturday mornings at 10am & 11am. These are 1-hour lessons at the club, taught by a former Australian No 1 golfer, Mr. Terry Price!

All children are welcome to join Mr. Price on May 15th for a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn the tips and tricks that made him an Australian golf legend.

Beginners and younger students will take the first turn with Mr. Price at 10 am and high school students are welcome to join him on the Tieri Golf Club at 11 am.

The guest instructor Terry Price was born and raised in Rockhampton, Queensland. In 1978, at the young age of 17, Mr. Price took the leap and turned professional. Only eight years later, the pro golfer joined the the PGA Tour of Australasia. One of the greatest moments of his life came to him in 1988 when he won his first tournament in 1988 at the non-Order of Merit Queensland PGA Championship.

Terry now lives in Hope Island with his wife and three children
