Do you love living in Tieri and want to make your town even better? Why not join your local Community Reference Group (CRG)?
As a CRG member, you have an opportunity to help the Central Highlands Regional Council prioritise and deliver the right projects, in the right places.
In these videos, local members of our CRG explain in their own words what a community reference group is and why people like you should get involved.
As Duaringa resident, Paul James says “[It’s an] opportunity for groups of people to get together from the grass roots and have a say in the community, to bring their concerns and their plans and thoughts of what the future is.”
The group meets quarterly to work together on progressing projects and advocate for improvements to benefit the whole community.
You do not need any experience or particular skills to take part. The group is open to anyone
from local business owners to healthcare workers, from parents to youths. Everyone has something to offer.
