The Glencore Vacation Employment Program is recruiting now and we are looking for enthusiastic tertiary students who want an amazing opportunity to build relationships and learn from industry experts in your chosen field.
We seek dedicated students who demonstrate resourcefulness and innovation and are excited to accept the challenge of living and working in regional locations.
The Program
Our program provides 12 weeks of paid on-the-job work experience during your university vacation period. It allows for you to implement your theoretical knowledge in a practical environment, whilst offering you a pathway towards your mining career. Applicants will be required to commit for the full twelve weeks.

Locations
Positions are available in our Glencore Coal Assets business accross NSW and QLD, based regionally on our mine sites. The roles are residential and you will be expected to relocate to the local area for the duration of the 12-week program. Accommodation is provided as part of the package if required to relocate for the program.
Dates and Elegibility
The Glencore Vacation Program will commence onsite at the end of November and finish mid-February. You must be currently in full-time studies at University.
Whilst priority will be given to second and third year undergraduate students studying the relevant discipline, students who will have completed at least one full year of study by end of 2023 are eligible to apply.
