2019 Capella Rodeo – Saturday 24th August 2019

2019 Capella Rodeo is ramping up to be even bigger and better than ever. The CRCA / ABCRA dual affiliated Rodeo has been running annually since 1976 and will once again incorporate the Trans Tasmin High School Rodeo Event for the 18^th year in a row. Enjoy a jam-packed day of entertainment kicking off with a Cowboys Brekky on Saturday at 6.30am with everyone welcome. The official competitions start at 10am – with the Trans Tasmin High School event starting at 5pm before the Grand Entry that commences at 6pm.

There will be loads of action throughout the event and thanks to Main Sponsors Oaky Creek Coal and Big Screens Australia you won’t miss a thing with a new BIG SCREEN Live replay experience.

See riders including 2018 PBR national champion Aaron Kleier and Dysart’s own Sonny Schafferius.

Events on the day include Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Steer wrestling and more. After the official events, there will be music by Dan Roberts DJ music and the bar will be open until late.

Please note: There will be a courtesy shuttle bus operating from 5.30pm to late from Capella Hotel, Dooley’s Tavern and Caravan Park, rotating approx. every half hour between points. Book-ins can be made for home pickups by calling DEB, on 0407 595 971. We also have an ATM located onsite for ease of withdrawing cash at the event.
