Registrations for Tieri’s Family Open Day have now closed.

Oaky Creek is very excited to announce they will be hosting the Family Open Day on November 13th: a wonderful opportunity for all family members to experience what is like to be an Oaky Creek employee and learn a bit more about the world-class operations at Tieri.

There will be several different activities for adults and children of all ages to enjoy, such as a bus tour of the surface operations allowing everyone to get a closer look and learn more about how Oaky Creek works.

There will also be an opportunity for men and women over 16 years old to do an underground tour- places are strictly limited for this tour, so make sure to sign up today!

“It is wonderful to be able to invite the local community to come on site and see where their parents, partners and friends work and what they do.” says Michelle Cody, Human Resources Superintendent at Oaky Creek Coal.

To give all our Tieri locals and visitors the best experience, Oaky Creek will be offering delicious food and refreshing drinks to all attendees, free of charge.

The open day will be followed by one of the communities hero events: the Annual Town Christmas Party, with celebrations kicking off in the afternoon for everyone to enjoy.
