On 21st of March, the town came together once more for the Par-Tee for Frank 2026, a community fundraising event created to bring people together to support Frank and his family.
The day featured raffles, golf, rides, face painting, balloon twisting, a Photo Booth, food, prizes, live entertainment and plenty of opportunities for the community to come together and show their support.
Local businesses, families, friends and community members all played a part in helping make the event such a success. From the amazing sponsors and vendors, to every single person who attended, donated, volunteered or promoted the event – every contribution mattered, and helped make the day the success that it was.
One of the highlights was seeing the overwhelming turnout from the community and the genuine kindness shown by everyone involved. Guests enjoyed a fun and welcoming atmosphere while helping raise over $7,000 for Frank’s family, who generously decided to pay the money forward to someone in need.
A huge thank you to SamYam Photobooth, Moranbah Balloons, AMP Amusements, Mr Whippy, Firthy’s Floss Fiesta and the band ‘Is What It Is’ for helping make the day so memorable.
“Par-Tee for Frank 2026 was more than just a fundraiser – it was a reminder of how powerful a community can be when people come together to support one another. The event showcased compassion, generosity and the incredible support network surrounding Frank and his family, creating yet another day that will be remembered by everyone involved.” says Jodie McKenzie.
