Family Day Care Planned for Tieri!

Enhance Family Day care is the largest family day care provider in Queensland and a member of the state’s Family Day Care Association. They are a not-for-profit organisation of 350 qualified educations and 13 offices across the state. Family day care is approved child education and care that’s provided by a qualified educator in their own home.

Children are cared for in a family-like environment, by the same educator as they grow, helping them to form lasting and meaningful bonds. The requirements are the same as long day care, however, children are cared for in smaller groups, resulting in fewer sick days and receiving more personal attention.

“This is something the community has been asking for a long time, and understandably so,” says Michelle Cody, Human Resources Superintendent at Oaky Creek Coal. “We know it’s been frustrating that a viable solution has been slow to arrive, but all the work that’s been happening behind the scenes has paid off. Through Enhance and their family day care model, we believe we have found a truly sustainable approach that will help our community connect and thrive.”
