How does the virus spread and what are the symptoms?

Most COVID-19 cases appear to be spread from people who have symptoms. A small number of people may have been infectious before their symptoms developed. Symptoms of COVID-19 can range from mild illness to pneumonia. Some people will recover easily, and others may get very sick very quickly.

People with coronavirus may experience a fever, symptoms such as coughing, a sore throat and fatigue, and shortness of breath.
