The Australian Government has introduced guidelines and restrictions on social distancing and social gatherings to help stop the spread of COVID-19. In supporting these initiatives and to keep our community safe, some local business have had to changed how they operate, amend their trading hours or amend their service offerings.

This is a tough time for everyone, retailers, employees and customers within our community, across Australia and the world, but the health, safety and well-being of our community and our loved ones is most important. Things are changing every day, so let’s stay calm, safe and look after each other.

 


New face mask requirements for Queenslanders

Queenslanders across the state are now required to wear masks, some for the very first time. With masks now mandatory everyone must carry one with them at all times when they leave home unless they have a lawful reason not to. This directive was made effective after the Greater Brisbane area was sent into a 3 day lock down from 5pm Monday 29 March 2021. Learn more about how and were masks must be worn here.

Stage 4 easing of restrictions, including border changes.

Queensland’s Roadmap to Easing COVID-19 restrictions outlines a staged approach to giving Queenslanders more freedom to travel, participate in more activities and hold more gatherings. Due to Queensland's strong health response to COVID-19 means we’re well positioned for recovery and from Thursday 1st October 2020, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced Stage 4 Easing of Restrictions will come into effect, including border changes. The Roadmap provides sensible and gradual steps to a COVID recovery that will reconnect our communities and keeps our economy moving by supporting business, industry and Queensland jobs. Tieri Gym re-opens 24/7

The Tieri Gym has now re-opened 24/7 and is operating under an industry COVID-SAFE plan. The health and wellness of our employees, contractors and community members remains our number one priority. We would like to stress that it is vital that all members comply with all signage and any directives from Gym Staff. Current memberships that were frozen from 23 March 2020 have now been re-started from 27th July 2020.
