Raelene Bock been creating ever since she can remember and loves to work with recycled metals and wire to create bespoke feature pieces for your home and garden.
As part of council’s Metal in March festival, Raelene will demonstrate various techniques to create metal flowers out of everyday items that would usually ends up as landfill. If it’s metal and you can cut it, it can be used to make a myriad of flowers in various designs. From beer bottle caps and wine bottle lids, to the humble tin can, it was used to create these beautiful art pieces.
All equipment will be provided for you to use on the day. Please feel free to bring along your own tools if you prefer. We will be using metal cutting snips (Wiss brand), small pliers and a pair of side cutters.
